I. Business venues and places where personal business is conducted should implement crowd and flow control and enforce the wearing of masks and social distancing.

J. Workplaces should follow the epidemic prevention rules in the Guidelines for Enterprise Planning of Business Continuity in Response to the Coronavirus Disease 2019, and put individual and work place health management mechanisms into action, as well as measures to maintain business continuity (like working in multiple offices, distance working and flexible working hours).

K. Enhanced disinfection of public places and public transport.

The CECC explained that it has asked all hospitals across Taiwan to suspend visitation (with certain exceptions allowed) and to allow only one person to accompany a patient in the hospital, and that such measures will remain in place during the effective period of the nationwide Level 3 epidemic alert. (Updated on 6/11) Entry restrictions for foreigners to Taiwan in response to COVID-19 outbreak.

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced today that strict border control measures will continue to be implemented during Taiwan’s nationwide Level 3 epidemic alert. In accordance with these measures, entry to Taiwan has been suspended for foreign nationals not holding a valid R.O.C. (Taiwan) Resident Certificate. Exceptions are being considered on a case-by-case basis for emergencies and on humanitarian grounds.

In line with this anti-pandemic policy, R.O.C. (Taiwan) overseas missions are halting the processing of visa applications during the nationwide Level 3 epidemic alert. Entry has also been suspended for persons holding a valid visitor visa or resident visa. 4. Immigration Inspection: Any traveler who falsifies his or her travel history, he or she will be fined according to the Communicable Disease Control Act.
